Mission
To organize and operate, exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, as a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the interest of the Carlos Rosario International School Alumni Association, Inc, lessening the burdens of the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School, Inc, and promoting generally this great educational institution, the alma- mater of the alumni of it and its predecessor institutions.
To maintain and raise funds for the programs of the Carlos Rosario International Alumni Association, Inc, including, but not limited to, workshops, conferences, bookstore and commencement regalia, sports and commemorative items and other alumni services, education, career development, employment counseling, family and individual support services, and any multicultural program components.
To support and foster a spirit of loyalty and fraternity and bonds of fellowship and mutual assistance among these alumni and facilitate the educational activities and public service functions of the Carlos Rosario International.
To provide scholarship assistance to students of the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School, Inc, as they pursue college or other postsecondary technical or vocational training.
To acquaint the alumni fully with the progress and needs of to the Carlos Rosario International School Public Charter School and educate the community, industry and the public at large concerning the role of English as a Second Language (ESL) education , its use and its application to workforce development and to promote adult education for the benefit of government, industry and the public at large.
To exhort the alumni to interpret the work and services of the Carlos Rosario International School Public Charter School and to encourage united action in promoting and advancing the interest and the general welfare of the Carlos Rosario International School Public Charter School , Inc., as an adult educational institution and to participate in the raising of funds for the Carlos Rosario International School Public Charter School, Inc. from the alumni by gift, endowment, scholarship, or student aid.
To supervise the sale of tickets to Carlos Rosario International School Public Charter School Inc. functions, which may be allocated to alumni and to facilitate and encourage alumni attendance and to sponsor recreational and other appropriate nonprofit activities involving alumni; To publish periodicals, hold and sponsor graduation ceremonies and to issue the official class ring for the purpose of maintaining the esprit- de- corps , morale , team spirit of a group that makes the alumni members and their want that the group succeed; To be recognized as a member of this alumni group and to make awards to alumni for outstanding work in promoting the welfare of Carlos Rosario International School, Inc.
